Join Hira’s Heroes
Please join us on April 2, 2022, beginning at 2PM, for two great events that will kick your spring into high gear, in support of ALS awareness and “eye gaze” technology.
- PEAC Performance presents its annual Performance Games, with a theme of “Keep on Ticking.” Participants will be divided into teams and compete in fun and challenging events. The event will be held at Schafer Sports Center, 5 Graphics Drive, Ewing NJ 08628, from 2-4PM. Cost is $25 per person. You can sign up as an individual or two-person team. There are no age limits. There’s a required insurance waiver to sign and return via mail or email. To sign up, click here.
- Following the event, join us for “Hira’s Happy Hour,” just up the street at Riverhorse Brewery, 2 Graphics Drive, Ewing NJ, from 4:30-7:30. There will be pizza, snacks, and soft drinks for all attendees. Cost is $20 per person. Beer and merchandise sold separately. To sign up, click here.
All proceeds from both events will go to “Keep on Ticking,” a 501c3 organization, founded by Hira Ahluwalia, a Hopewell Township resident and scientist, family man, soccer skipper, and former player on Hopewell and Riverhorse men’s teams. Since 2014, he has fought a long and difficult battle with ALS. In 2021, he published his inspiring and hilarious memoir “Keep on Ticking,” through the use of eye gaze technology. You can read more about Hira and his journey here.
PLEASE JOIN US for either or both events. PLEASE RESPOND BY MARCH 26. Or you can support Hira through a donation via GoFundMe, which is here.
